Adoption Process

At NakedSphynxLake, we are dedicated to breeding Sphynx kittens with exceptional temperament, health, and conformation. Our kittens are raised in a loving, hands-on environment, ensuring they receive the best care and socialization from birth until they join their forever families.

We health-test all of our breeding cats to ensure they have excellent temperaments and are free of genetic concerns. Every kitten comes with a comprehensive health guarantee, and we provide lifetime breeder support to our adopters.

Kitten Adoption Timeline

Kittens remain with us until they are at least 12–14 weeks old.

For odd-eyed litters, kittens may be available for selection starting at 4 weeks old.

We offer kittens to waitlist members in the order deposits are received. If any kittens remain unreserved, they will be publicly listed.

Kittens:

Standard Kittens: $2,600 – $3,000

Odd-Eyed & Blue-Eyed Kittens: $3,000 – $3,500

Color Odd-Eyed Kittens: $3,500 – $4,500

Breeding Rights: Additional $1,000

Deposits:

A $100 deposit and a signed agreement are required to join our waitlist.

When selecting a kitten, an additional $400 deposit and a signed contract are required to reserve your kitten.

The remaining balance is due in cash at pickup.

Retired Adults:

Price: $500

The adoption process for retired breeding adults follows the same deposit structure.

Kitten Transport Options

We encourage in-person pickups at our location in Warsaw, Missouri. However, if you’re unable to travel, we can help coordinate safe transport for your kitten within the United States.

Pickup & Delivery:

If you are flying in, we can meet you at MCI (Kansas City) or SGF (Springfield) airports.

Personal delivery is available at $2.00 per mile, up to 300 miles, and is only offered on weekends.

For distances beyond 300 miles, we use trusted transport services:

Payment Plan Option

We understand that purchasing a Sphynx kitten is a significant investment, which is why we offer a flexible payment plan to help you budget for your future kitten.

How It Works:

Make payments in increments of $100, $200, $300, $400, $500, or $1,000.

Once your payments reach the kitten’s price (minus a remaining balance of $250 or less), you can select a kitten.

Payments must be a minimum of $100 each.

Important Notes & Restrictions:

All payments are non-refundable but will be applied toward a future kitten purchase.

A kitten is not considered reserved until the remaining balance is $250 or less.

Payments can be made as frequently as you like.

This plan is for future kittens only and cannot be applied to currently available kittens.
